This past Friday we were lucky enough to have local fishermen Mary Beth and Jason McKinley from Caught Wild Salmon sampling their Bristol Bay sockeye salmon fillets with Salt of the Earth Seasoned finishing salt. Both of these fantastic, local brands/products are available in our store. Jon, our Meat Department Manager, mixed up a really tasty sauce to go along with the already great pairing and the three tastes together were just too good not to share! Here’s his recipe for Salmon Dressing. Enjoy!
1/3 cup JD’s buttermilk
Juice of half a lemon
1 Tbsp fresh dill, minced
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste.
Whisk all ingredients to combine.
Enjoy with Caught Wild Salmon grilled with your favorite Salt of the Earth finishing salt.
