Part-Time Dishwasher

Good Foods Co-op is currently looking for a dishwasher with superior customer service and a can-do spirit. Primary duties include cleaning of equipment to match the daily production needs of cafe, salad bar, kitchen, & grab n’ go. Organize work-space and storage. Provide quality dish cleaning services and maintain proper storage of plates, small wares and utensils. Ensure adequate cleaning and monitoring of the dish area and deli waste/recycling receptacles. Maintain safety and sanitation in accordance with GFC’s standards and practices. Follow regular cleaning schedules for dish, warehouse and dock areas. Fully prepare work area and equipment for daily activities as well as for all holidays, events, and promotions.

Applicants must have morning and weekend availability.

Salary: $9.00-$10.00 /hour

  • Dishwashing: 1 year

Full-Time Baker

Primary duties consist of: Implement daily production needs of the Bakery Department including preparing muffins, cookies, cakes, and/or breads (from scratch); organizing, maintaining, and cleaning work spaces in accordance with GFC standards and practices; providing quality prep services and ensuring proper stocking and rotation of product; and providing general customer support and assistance in a fast-paced grocery cafe environment

Successful candidates must demonstrate a high degree of efficiency and reliability, strong customer service skills, the ability to work as an effective team member, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively multi-task.

Must be able to tolerate repeated lifting, bending, twisting, occasional climbing, and a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Previous food service and/or baking experience, required

Full-time employees are eligible for the Co-op's benefit package after 90 days of continuous full-time employment.
