All Around Low Fat Smoothie

  • 1/2 Cup Farmer's Creamery Skim Milk - Aisle 1
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Cow Plain Fat Free Yogurt - Aisle 1
  • 1/2 Organic Frozen Banana, sliced (peel before freezing) - Produce
  • 2 Tbsp. Solgar Protein Powder - Aisle E
  • 1 & 1/2 Tbsp. Barlean's Flaxseed Meal - Aisle A
  • 1 Tsp. Local Wildflower Honey - Bulk Aisle 5
  • 1/2 Cup Frozen Tree of Life Fruit, such as Strawberries or Blueberries - Freezers

In a blender, mix all the ingredients until smooth. Serves 1

This is a recipe I experimented with to try to get a good amount of vitamins, calcium, protein, and fiber in my diet. The great part of this is that I don't get bored with it (even though I drink it every day) because I can change the type of fruit I use whenever I want.
