Bob's Peas
- With the peas already defrosted in the fridge and the green onions sliced and refrigerated in a jar, you can prepare this dish very quickly just before serving for a dish with a fresh-vegetable taste.
- 2, 16 oz packages of organic Woodstock Farms frozen peas, defrosted in fridge - Freezers
- 6 Tbsp. butter - Aisle 1
- 3/4 cup sliced green onions and tops - Produce
- 1 Tsp. honey - Bulk Aisle 5
- 1 1/2 Tsp. dried basil, use fresh basil if available - Produce
- 3 Tbsp. fresh parsley, snipped with scissors - Produce
- Salt, to taste - Herbs & Spices
- Fresh ground black pepper - Herbs & Spices
Melt butter and add green onions. Saute for a few minutes to soften the onions. Add defrosted peas and stir until hot. Add honey, basil, parsley, salt and black pepper. Serve immediately.
