Corn Pudding
- 1 10 oz. pkg. frozen organic corn, thawed - Frozen Aisle
- 1/3 cup organic cane sugar, more or less to taste - Bulk Aisle 5
- 1 tsp. sea salt, to taste - Bulk Aisle 5
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste - Bulk Aisle 5
- 2 tbsp. corn meal or corn flour - Aisle 2
- 2 tbsp. unbleached organic white flour - Aisle 2
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder - Aisle 2
- 4 tbsp. melted butter - Aisle 1
- 4 organic eggs - Aisle 1
- 1 cup organic low fat milk - Aisle 1
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, reduce fat optional - Cheese Case
- paprika, optional - Herbs & Spices
Preheat oven to 375 degrees fahrenehit. Spray a 7x11-inch glass baking dish with canola oil or olive oil spray. Set aside. Mix all ingredients except paprika together in a large bowl. Pour batter into prepared bakibg dish. Sprinkle with paprika if desired. Bake for about 45 to 50 miutes or until set. Puddig is done when knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
