Cranberry Apple Crisp

  • 4-6 cups (approximately 3 lb. bag) peeled granny smith apples - Produce
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries - Produce
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice - Produce
  • 2-1/4 cups old fashioned oats - Bulk Aisle 5
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts - Bulk Aisle 5
  • 3/4 cup unfiltered honey - Bulk Aisle 5 or Aisle 2
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon - Herbs & Spices
  • 3/4 tsp. cloves - Herbs & Spices
  • 1 cup butter - Aisle 1

Butter pyrex baking dish (11-3/4 x 7-1/2 x 1-3/4). Slice apples. Layer apples and cranberries. Sprinkle with lemon juice and drizzle honey over mix. In serperate bowl mix oatmeal,spices, nuts, and butter. Stir until dry ingredients are moistened and mixture is crumbly. Press mixture over fruit until covered. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees fahrenheit for about 45 minutes to an hour. Serve warm. If topping is desired, forzen yogurt can be used.
