Green To Go Smoothie

  • 1 Organic Banana - Produce
  • 1 1/2 to 2 cups water
  • 1 Tbsp. Pure Maple Syrup or Honey - Bulk Aisle 5
  • 2 Tbsp. Native Forest Coconut Milk - Aisle 3
  • 2 large handfuls of Spinach, Chard, Kale, Leaf Lettuce, or Parsley - Produce
  • Optional ingredients: unsweetened whey protein powder to add protein and/or psyllium seed husk to add fiber.

Blend about a minute. Add a few ice cubes while blender is running and blend a bit longer. This is so fresh and yummy - an absolutely great way to get children to eat their veggies! Adapted from the Above Rubies magazine.
