Ground Turkey Soup

  • 1/2 Lb. Ground Turkey - Meat Case
  • 1 Small Onion - Produce
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Cabbage - Produce
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Carrots - Produce
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Celery - Produce
  • 2 Cups Chopped Canned Tomatoes with the Juice - Aisle 3
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Potatoes - Produce
  • 2 Tbsp. Long Grain Brown Rice - Bulk or Aisle 2
  • 1/4 Tsp. Dried Thyme - Bulk Herbs or Aisle 2
  • 1/4 Tsp. Dried Basil - Bulk Herbs or Aisle 2
  • 1/2 Tsp. Honey - Bulk or Aisle 2
  • 1 Tsp. Unrefined Salt - Bulk or Aisle 2
  • Black Pepper as Desired - Bulk Herbs or Aisle 2

Brown turkey and onion until crumbly. Add remaining ingredients, cover, and cook until brown rice and vegetables are tender, about 45 minutes, on very low heat. This makes a hearty thick soup.
