Hungarian Cucumber Salad
- 3 lbs. Cucumbers, thinly sliced – Produce
- 1 Cup Sugar – Bulk Aisle 5
- Salt, to taste – Aisle 2
- 1/2 Cup Vinegar
- Sour Cream, optional – Aisle 1
- 1 Tsp. Frontier Organic Paprika – Bulk Herbs & Spices
- Black Pepper, to taste – Bulk Herbs & Spices
Place thinly sliced cucumbers in a bowl and scrub them with the salt and sugar. Let it stand overnight in the fridge. Squeeze out all the liquid. Add vinegar and pepper. Serve sprinkled with paprika and a little sour cream.
