Hungarian Cucumber Salad

  • 3 lbs. Cucumbers, thinly sliced – Produce
  • 1 Cup Sugar – Bulk Aisle 5
  • Salt, to taste – Aisle 2
  • 1/2 Cup Vinegar
  • Sour Cream, optional – Aisle 1
  • 1 Tsp. Frontier Organic Paprika – Bulk Herbs & Spices
  • Black Pepper, to taste – Bulk Herbs & Spices
  • Place thinly sliced cucumbers in a bowl and scrub them with the salt and sugar. Let it stand overnight in the fridge. Squeeze out all the liquid. Add vinegar and pepper. Serve sprinkled with paprika and a little sour cream.
