Miso Soup

  • 1/4 cup Miso Master country barley - Aisle 1 (refrigeration)
  • Several shiitake mushrooms, sliced - Produce
  • 4 green onions, chopped - Produce
  • 1/4-1/2 bag of Earthbound Farms organic spinach, chopped - Produce
  • 6 cups of water or Imagine chicken broth - Aisle 2

Simmer mushrooms, onions, & spinach heat up but do not boil. Add the miso to some of the broth and mix well. Then add to the entire pot. Again, heat but do not boil & serve. Add or delete items according to taste. Serves 5-6
