Onion Salad (Japan)

Ingredients:

  • 2 Medium Organic Onions - Produce
  • 1/2 Cup Eden Dried Bonito Flakes - Aisle 3

Dressing:

  • 1 Tbsp. Spectrum Vegetable Oil - Aisle 3
  • 1 Tbsp. San-J Soy Sauce - Aisle 3
  • 2 Tbsp. Eden Organic Rice Vinegar - Aisle 3
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste - Aisle 2

Slice onions into very thin rounds.  Soak in cold water, changing water 2-3 times.  Drain well.  Serve in small salad bowls; sprinkle bonito flakes over.  Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds if desired.  Serve with dressing.
