Spiced Apple Cider

  • 1 1/2 cups dry Cider Mate - Aisle 3
  • 1 gallon organic apple juice - Aisle 5
  • cheese cloth - Aisle 5
  • 1 or 2 organic oranges, sliced with peeling on, optional - Produce
  • 1 or 2 organic apples, cored and cut into chunks, optional - Produce
  • 4-5 cinnamon sticks - Herbs & Spices

Wrap Cider Mate in cheesecloth and secure by tying or sewing with needle and thread. Place in a large pot and add remaining ingredients. Heat until almost boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes to an hour. Remove bag of spices and keep warm while serving.
