LIMITED TIME OFFER!

If you missed signing up for a full CSA season in the spring, we have great news! We are now offering a Half Season Share for the remaining 10 weeks of our Cooperative CSA. Signing up is as easy as stopping by our Hospitality Desk or sending us your digital subscription form and payment before August 6th.

What is a CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, which is a direct farm-to-consumer program that provides you with the freshest local, seasonal vegetables each week. It’s a great way to try and eat more veggies, eat more local food and eat seasonally since you will simply get whatever is in abundance at harvest time.

What do you get with a half season share?
A box of farm-fresh, mostly organic produce every Tuesday beginning August 10th, 2021. The 6-8 items in the weekly box (which will feed a 2-3 person family) will change as the seasons change, depending upon availability.

Who are the farmers?
Rolling Fork Organic Farm is a certified organic farm in the hills of Central Kentucky near Danville that focuses on sustainability and conservation practices, including regenerative farming and vermacomposting. Casey County Organics, a cooperative of organic farmers near Liberty, KY, will also be contributing to the share boxes. Smaller farms will be adding to the shares throughout the season—like lettuces from Salad Days Farm in Versailles and microgreens from Everae Gardens in Lexington—so they benefit from the cooperative nature of this CSA too.

What does it cost?
The half season—10 weeks of fresh, organic produce—costs $300, which breaks down to $30 per week.

How do I get my produce?
Sign-up for the half-season by Friday, August 6th. Each week a bag of fresh, organic produce will be delivered to Good Foods Co-op, 455 Southland Drive, Lexington. Please return your insulated bag from the previous week each time you pick up your new share bag. We work hard to minimize food waste, so please be aware that shares not picked up within 24 hours will be donated to folks struggling with food scarcity.

Simply sign up in-store at our Hospitality Desk. Make it even faster by having this subscription form filled out. For contactless service, you may also scan and send in your form via email to goodfoods@goodfoods.coop and we will contact you for credit card payment over the phone.
