From Lexington, Michael and Annabelle started homesteading to learn how to feed themselves. After sharing their eggs with others, the kids decided to create their own business. With Evermore Farm less than 15 miles away from the Co-op, Michael and Annabelle are able to deliver fresh eggs that are sometimes laid the same day. They feed their chickens certified organic feed/grains. The chickens are free to eat bugs, grass, lay their eggs in a nest, go for a stroll near the creek and sleep in a protected house next to their friends.
