ONLINE: A Community Conversation with Bluegrass Death Doula, Lauren Hunter-Smith

This event will be held ONLINE via Zoom and is FREE to attend, but registration is required. Tickets can be reserved here.

Join Lauren Hunter-Smith (the Bluegrass Death Doula) in a community conversation about death as it pertains to residents of Central Kentucky. She’ll discuss regional death topics, including legal rights and the resources available as one prepares for the end of life. There will be time for a question and answer period at the end of the presentation. Question submissions are encouraged ahead of the class and can be emailed to kathrynd@goodfoods.coop. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Lauren Hunter-Smith studied painting and biology at the University of Kentucky before serving in the US Peace Corps. Lauren is an IAP Certified Death Doula who is recognized by the National End of Life Doula Alliance and the National Home Funeral Alliance. She holds additional certifications in aromatherapy, sound therapy, meditation and is in the process of earning her celebrant and green burial certifications.
