Healthier Holiday Recipes

Holiday meals that are healthy AND delicious can be a reality. Find out how to modify your favorite recipes to be more nutritious while still retaining tradition and taste. You can even try some finished products to inspire your own recipe revamps.

Participants will be able to state one technique to reduce the calories in any holiday dish, identify one recipe for which they will modify the ingredients and/or preparation methods, and taste recipes that have been made over to reduce calories.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Stacy Hodges is a Lexington-based Registered Dietitian/ Nutritionist whose mantra is “Eat well, live life fully.” She is the owner of Stacy Hodges, RD, a private nutrition coaching practice. She also co-founded Zaya, a new venture with a local yoga teacher, that blends mind, body and nutrition to teach others about how to live healthier lifestyles.
