Loss & the Holidays

Are you dealing with the first Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Year’s after a loved one’s death, after a divorce, or the loss of a job or other significant relationship?

Dr. James Stillwell will help you navigate the treacherous waters of grief and loss with coping strategies for how to make the holidays something to look forward to, not to dread.

Participants will leave this class equipped with tools for navigating the personal and societal challenges of the annual, family-oriented Holidays while dealing with significant loss/losses.

Students will have the option to purchase the book, A Decembered Grief by Harold Ivan Smith, for $10 at the class. Please bring cash or check.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite or at our Hospitality Desk and are $10 for general admission, $8 for Co-op owners.
