2018 Bluegrass Tomato Fest, a celebration of home gardens, takes place on Saturday, August 25th from noon-6 pm at 3220 Lexington Road in Nicholasville (right next to Bethel Harvest Church). Good Foods Co-op is a proud sponsor of this tasty and family-friendly event.
This year’s Tomato Fest benefits Seedleaf and God’s Pantry Food Bank.
Activities include: food trucks and beer, salsa contest with celebrity judges, tomato variety tasting, children’s activities including an award-winning face painter, live music, salsa and square dancing demonstrations, gardening help desk, and a tomato battle.
